$5 - As little as five dollars can support one-half of the monthky hosting fees for our website. Christian Mix Inet pays $7.95 per month ($79.50) per year for the hosting of this website. This simple amount could help in 1/4 of our music royalty fees to Loudcity. Just a handful of the $5 gifts can knock a chunk off the cost of stream hosting for either Loudcity or Live365.
$10 - For ten dollars, you may have supported the purchase of a new CD for the station, Some music is "serviced" by record labels. Because internet radio is still in it's growth stage, we must buy a large amount of the music you hear on Christian Mix Inet.
OTHER -Some of the "behind the scene expenses include broadcast software leases, equipment costs, and music storage. It takes a lot of hard-drive space to store 8000 songs. In addition to the on-going support expenses, we have future plans and needs.
Christian Mix Inet has been online for 2 years, this September. It has been a blessing and a struggle. I invite the struggles and obstacles that the Lord has provided with this ministry.
We have added new servers, additional storage and expanded bandwidth. We have purchased new broadcast software updates ($400 per year). We have also added the capability to do live broadcasting with the purchase of a Multimix 8 USB sound mixer. There was also a purchase of a broadcast quality microphone.
We have also added additional bandwidth, which means additional cable accounts, to enable more people from all over the world to listen to Christian Mix Inet.

Future Plans - In addition to additional listener capacity, as this ministry grows, we need some specialty equipment for recording telephone interviews. I would also like to add a production system to the network for quality production of sounders, production of special programming and sound editing.
We are able to do it now, with the equipment that we have (except the phone patch adapters), but the strain on the network results in a less than "high quality" sound. By adding a dedicated production system to the network, we do not need to strain the music production line and compromise our "on-air" quality. In itself, the on-air sound is strained enough. We are needing to expand the network to a commercial router and widen our in-house bandwidth. There are just too many audio streams going too many places on just too little bandwidth.
