What kind of work do you do when you are not performing?
Who would you trade lives with for a day?
I would have liked to walk in Mother Theresa's shoes
for a day - that would have been life changing I'm sure.
What book are you reading now? 'Gigi the Pink
Ballerina' (kids book for my daughter) by Sheila
Walsh. We have to read it every night.
Favorite song? 'How deep the Father's love for us'
an old hymn - sung by Phillips, Craig and Dean.

Many - Carrie Underwood
What is the best thing about being an artist?
The hope of having significance... It is extremely
humbling to think "your music" had a little
something to do with someone's heart being
encouraged - pretty neat!!
What is the worst thing about being an artist?
My humanity - knowing at any point I can let
people down.
What is your biggest career embarrassment?
So many to consider... walking off stage in front of
at least 15,000 women and falling flat on my face.
There was absolutely nothing I could do to stop the
fall or recover from it - JUST EMBARRASSING!!
Most memorable career concert? Singing at the
Prayer Breakfast in Washington, D.C. a couple of years
ago. We were at the "head table" sitting only a few
people away from President George W. Bush and Bono
from U2. Pretty unforgettable for this little country girl.
Most memorable moment in creating your
most recent record? Singing in Brown Bannister's
BRAND NEW studio. We were the first "artist" to do
so... I consider that pretty monumental.
What is your favorite hometown hangout? My
Mom and Dad's house. The smell is the same and
Momma's cookin' can't be beat!!! I love being with
my family. They are so great!!!
What is something you want others to know
about you? I sang my FIRST solo at age 18. I LOVE
to clean too!!! - LOVE it!!!
Favorite Vacation spot? Maui, Hawaii.
Favorite Food? Sour cream Pringles
Favorite Drink? Starbucks bold Sumatra (Grande in
a Venti cup - 2 splenda and light khaki cream).
Guilty Pleasure: My Mom's chocolate meringue pie
What is your worst fear? Plane crash - I HATE
FLYING!!!
What was your very first job? A waitress at my
father's restaurant "Bob's Country Kitchen."

answering? How did POG get started? AND…Are
you going to have more children?
